We have reached a major milestone with the breeding of our farm's first gilts. Cumisec Investments (Private) Ltd., an African company of which AMIS is a major shareholder is refurbishing and restocking a hog operation on our way to our goal of developing a full farrow to finish hog operation over the next 2 years.

03/Apr/12

The first pond has been completed by Can & Tan Harvesting Ltd., a Tanzanian company of which AMIS is a major shareholder. The pond is now being filled with water for a two week period to test and flush the structure. The first stocking of the pond with fish will be done in the next 10 days.

AMIS Managing Director, Allan McNeil, P. Ag., is working with a British colleague to establish Salamat Farms Trust. The Trust is being set up for the purpose of developing an innovative agriculture production system in the Philippines.

Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) monitoring and management is a key component of AMIS project design and delivery.
