Project Manager, Development, Monitoring, Evaluation

Ted has extensive experience in the management of international development and cooperation projects in Central and South America.  His experience includes:  24 years as the manager of 4 CIDA Bilateral Projects in the water and sanitation sector of Peru, with CIDA funding of $ 22 M;  management of 3 municipal water and sanitation projects in Peru with $ 1.8 M of CSR funding from the Antamina Mining Company; and the management of youth exchange programs and volunteer sending programs.

As an integral part of his project management experience, he has participated in many project monitoring and evaluations, working with multi-disciplinary teams, local organizations (NGOs), donors and government representatives at municipal, regional and national levels. He also has significant experience in the formation, training, monitoring and evaluation of multi-disciplinary project teams. 

Ted has managed projects for Canada World Youth and World University Service of Canada in Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Peru and has participated in project development missions to El Salvador, Ecuador and Bolivia. He has lived in Latin America for 30 years and is fluent Spanish and English.
